TR8×8 Anti-Backlash Lead Screw Nut

This brass anti-backlash nut is designed for a matching TR8×8 lead screw in a 3D printer or other linear-motion mechanism. Its two-part construction uses a spring to preload the thread contact and reduce clearance when the direction of movement reverses.

Compatibility

Match the screw diameter, pitch and lead before purchasing. An 8mm diameter alone does not establish compatibility: T8 screws are available with different leads.

Check the mounting flange and available clearance, align the nut with the screw and test movement through the full travel. Spring preload can reduce backlash, but the final positioning accuracy also depends on alignment, wear and the rest of the mechanism.
