1602 Blue LCD I2C Module – 16×2 Character Display (Soldered)

The 1602 Blue LCD I2C Module combines a standard 16×2 character display with a pre-soldered serial interface. It displays letters, numbers, symbols, sensor values, menus, and project status information.

Moreover, the I2C interface uses only SDA and SCL for communication. Therefore, it saves valuable microcontroller pins compared with the standard parallel connection.

The display includes a blue backlight and clear character segments. In addition, the onboard potentiometer allows easy contrast adjustment.

How to Use

First, connect VCC and GND to a suitable power source. Then, connect SDA and SCL to the matching I2C pins on your controller.

Finally, adjust the onboard contrast potentiometer until the characters appear clearly. If the backlight works but no text appears, check the address, contrast setting, wiring, and software configuration.
