The GA25-370 130RPM Encoder Motor is a powerful 12V DC gear motor for robotics and automation. It features a durable metal gearbox, built-in encoder and approximately 6kg·cm stall torque for precise speed and position control.
GA25-370 130RPM Encoder Motor
The GA25-370 130RPM Encoder Motor is a compact 12V DC geared motor designed for robotics, automation and motion-control projects. It combines a durable metal gearbox with an integrated rotary encoder. Therefore, it provides both mechanical power and accurate motion feedback.
The motor delivers a no-load output speed of approximately 130RPM at 12V. It also provides up to 6kg·cm of stall torque. However, stall torque represents the maximum momentary torque when the shaft is prevented from rotating. It is not the recommended continuous operating torque.
Because this version uses a higher reduction ratio than faster GA25-370 versions, it provides increased output torque at a lower speed. As a result, it is suitable for robotic vehicles, compact mechanisms and applications that require controlled movement.
Accurate Encoder Feedback
The built-in dual-channel encoder generates feedback signals while the shaft rotates. A compatible microcontroller can use these signals to calculate speed, direction and position. In addition, closed-loop control methods such as PID can improve movement accuracy.
The GA25-370 130RPM Encoder Motor can be used with Arduino, ESP32, STM32 and Raspberry Pi systems. Nevertheless, the motor must be connected through a suitable motor driver. It should not be powered directly from a microcontroller output pin.
Key Features
- Operating voltage: 12V DC
- No-load speed: approximately 130RPM
- Stall torque: approximately 6kg·cm
- Built-in dual-channel rotary encoder
- Durable all-metal reduction gearbox
- Compact 25mm gearbox design
- Bidirectional rotation using a compatible H-bridge driver
- Suitable for speed and position feedback
- Ideal for closed-loop control projects
Applications
This motor is suitable for mobile robots, line-following robots, automated vehicles and small conveyor mechanisms. It can also be used in robotic arms, smart machines and educational control projects.
For reliable operation, select a motor driver that can safely handle the motor’s starting and stall current. Furthermore, avoid keeping the shaft stalled because this can cause excessive current, heat and permanent motor damage.
