BZX79-C10V1 zener diode with a 10.1V breakdown voltage, 0.5W in a DO-35 glass package. Used for simple voltage regulation, reference voltages and protecting inputs from overvoltage.
The 10.1V Zener Diode BZX79-C10V1 conducts in reverse once the voltage reaches about 10.1V, holding that voltage steady across its terminals. With a series resistor it makes a simple shunt regulator or reference, and it can clamp signal or supply lines to protect microcontroller inputs from overvoltage.
