How the Mist Driver Works

The driver circuit generates a high-frequency electrical signal. It sends this signal to a compatible piezoelectric ceramic disc.

As a result, the disc vibrates rapidly and breaks water into tiny droplets. A fan or air channel can then move the mist outside the humidifier enclosure.

Compatibility Requirements

This board does not work with every atomizing disc. Before connecting it, check the following:

Matching only the disc diameter does not guarantee compatibility. The electrical frequency must also match the driver circuit.

Installation and Safety Notes

Disconnect the power before connecting or replacing the atomizing disc. Also, keep the exposed circuit board away from water, mist, and condensation.

Never operate the module at an unknown voltage. Incorrect voltage may damage the board or atomizer.

Furthermore, avoid running the ceramic disc dry unless the complete system provides dry-run protection. Continuous dry operation may shorten the disc’s service life.

Use clean water whenever possible. Oils, perfumes, and other additives may damage or block some atomizing discs unless the complete humidifier supports them.
