The M&R 907C Soldering Iron Handle is a replacement handpiece designed for compatible M&R temperature-controlled soldering stations. It provides a practical replacement for a damaged iron, worn cable, faulty heating element, or heavily used workshop handpiece.

The handle operates from a compatible 24V DC soldering station. Therefore, it is not designed to connect directly to a wall outlet or independent power supply. The station provides the required power and temperature-control functions.

Its lightweight pencil-style construction makes it suitable for detailed soldering work, electronics repair, and printed circuit-board assembly.

Ceramic Heating Element

The ceramic heating element provides efficient heat transfer to the soldering tip. As a result, the handle can respond quickly to temperature changes when connected to the correct station.

Additionally, the station’s control circuit monitors and adjusts the heater to maintain the selected temperature. However, the actual temperature range and heating performance depend on the connected M&R soldering-station model.

Compatibility Requirements

Before ordering, compare the connector shape, pin count, key position, station voltage, and pinout with the original handpiece.

Several soldering handles use the 907C name. Nevertheless, their connectors, temperature sensors, heaters, and internal wiring may differ. Therefore, the model number alone does not guarantee compatibility with every soldering station.

Use this handle only with a confirmed compatible M&R station. Do not connect it directly to 220V AC.

Care and Maintenance

Always keep the soldering tip coated with a thin layer of solder. In addition, clean it using brass wool or a slightly damp soldering sponge.

Avoid pulling or sharply bending the cable near the handle and connector. Finally, switch off the station and allow the iron to cool before replacing the tip or checking the heating element.
