ESP32 38-Pin Expansion Board with Power Supply
The ESP32 38-Pin Expansion Board is a practical breakout and power-distribution board designed for compatible 38-pin ESP32 development boards. It organizes the GPIO, voltage, and ground connections into clearly arranged headers. Therefore, connecting sensors, displays, relays, and other electronic modules becomes faster and more convenient.
Instead of using a crowded breadboard or connecting several loose wires directly to the ESP32, you can mount the compatible development board into the central female headers. The expansion board then provides easier access to the ESP32 pins around both sides.
Please note that this product is an expansion board only. The ESP32 development board shown in some application examples is not included.
Multiple Power Input Options
The board offers several convenient power-input methods. It includes USB Type-C, Micro-USB, and a DC barrel jack. As a result, you can choose a suitable power source according to your project requirements.
When using the DC barrel jack, the supported input range is approximately 6.5V to 16V DC. Furthermore, the onboard power-distribution section provides selectable 3.3V or 5V rails for compatible external modules and sensors.
Always check the voltage requirements of every connected component before selecting the power rail. A 3.3V-only device may be damaged if connected to a 5V supply.
Easy GPIO and Sensor Connections
The ESP32 38-Pin Expansion Board breaks out the available ESP32 connections into organized signal, voltage, and ground headers. Consequently, common three-wire modules can be connected without building a separate power-distribution circuit.
This organized layout reduces wiring clutter and makes it easier to inspect, modify, and troubleshoot a prototype. Moreover, printed pin labels help users identify the required GPIO connections during development.
