Getting started
Install Raspberry Pi OS on a compatible microSD card and connect a suitable power supply. For desktop use, add a display, micro HDMI cable, keyboard and mouse. Choose a Raspberry Pi 4-compatible case and cooling arrangement for the intended workload.
The GPIO header supports electronics projects with suitable interfacing; its signals use 3.3V logic. Power over Ethernet requires a separate compatible PoE HAT.
