X-Power 12V 5000mAh Lithium Battery Pack

The X-Power 12V 5000mAh Lithium Battery Pack provides rechargeable DC power for compatible electronics, lighting, portable equipment, and DIY projects. It uses six reclaimed 18650 lithium-ion cells in a 3S2P configuration.

Three series groups increase the pack voltage. Meanwhile, two parallel cells in each group increase the available capacity. The pack provides approximately 11.1V nominal output and reaches 12.6V when fully charged.

A built-in 20A-rated BMS monitors the battery during charging and discharging. It provides protection against conditions such as overcharging, excessive discharge, overcurrent, and short circuits.

Charging and Safety Instructions

Use only a dedicated 12.6V CC/CV charger for 3S lithium-ion battery packs. A standard 12V power adapter cannot fully or correctly charge this battery.

The BMS protects the pack during abnormal conditions. However, it does not replace a suitable lithium-ion charger.

Also, the 20A marking refers to the BMS rating. It does not guarantee that the reclaimed cells, wires, or DC connector can safely supply 20A continuously. Therefore, avoid high-current equipment unless you verify the pack’s tested continuous-discharge rating.

Do not puncture, crush, dismantle, short-circuit, or expose the battery to fire or excessive heat. Stop using the pack if it becomes swollen, damaged, unusually hot, or produces an abnormal smell.

Charge the battery on a non-flammable surface and never leave it charging unattended.

Important Capacity Note

This pack uses reclaimed original cells. Therefore, its measured capacity, internal resistance, runtime, and maximum safe output may vary between production batches.

Actual operating time also depends on the connected load, operating temperature, cell condition, and discharge current.
