PCF8574 I2C expander module that adds 8 extra digital input/output pins using only the SDA and SCL lines. Chainable with selectable addresses, ideal when Arduino, ESP32 or Raspberry Pi run out of GPIO.
The PCF8574 I2C IO Expansion Module adds eight quasi-bidirectional digital I/O pins to any microcontroller over the two-wire I2C bus. Three jumpers set the address so up to eight modules can share one bus, giving as many as 64 extra pins for buttons, LEDs, relays and keypads without using more GPIO.

Usage Tips
Set a unique address on each module with the A0–A2 jumpers, add pull-up resistors on SDA/SCL if your board has none, and use the PCF8574 library. Outputs sink current better than they source it, so drive LEDs from VCC through a resistor to the pin.
