BMP180 Barometric Pressure Sensor with Temperature Compensation
The BMP180 sensor module measures atmospheric pressure and temperature over an I2C connection. It is useful for weather-monitoring projects, pressure logging and software-based altitude estimates.

- Digital interface: I2C, also known as TWI or Wire.
- Integrated temperature measurement for pressure compensation.
Pin Connections
- VIN: 3.3V supply.
- GND: common ground.
- DA / SDA: I2C data.
- CL / SCL: I2C clock.
Use a BMP180-compatible library to read the calibration data and calculate compensated measurements. Confirm the signal levels before connecting a 5V microcontroller.
Atmospheric pressure changes with both elevation and weather. Altitude calculations therefore need a suitable reference pressure and periodic adjustment. This module measures pressure and temperature; it does not measure humidity.
