NTAG213 Round NFC Sticker 25mm

The NTAG213 Round NFC Sticker 25mm is a compact and programmable NFC tag based on the NXP NTAG213 chip. It operates at 13.56MHz and complies with the NFC Forum Type 2 Tag and ISO/IEC 14443 Type A standards.

The tag does not require a battery. Instead, it receives power wirelessly from a compatible NFC reader or smartphone. Therefore, it is easy to integrate into identification, automation, marketing, and interactive electronics applications.

Each package contains five round NFC inlay stickers with a diameter of approximately 25mm.

Common Applications

It is suitable for smart posters, digital business cards, product identification, inventory labels, attendance projects, interactive displays, Wi-Fi sharing, and NFC-enabled automation.

Moreover, the sticker can work with compatible PN532 modules and other 13.56MHz NFC readers that support ISO/IEC 14443A and NFC Forum Type 2 tags.

Programming the NFC Sticker

First, install a compatible NFC writing application on an NFC-enabled smartphone. Next, select the required record type, such as a website URL, contact card, text message, or automation command. Then, hold the phone close to the sticker until the writing process finishes.

You can rewrite the tag unless its memory has been permanently locked. Therefore, do not activate the permanent read-only option until you have tested the stored information.

Important Installation Information

Communication distance depends on the reader, antenna, phone, and installation environment. Place the tag close and parallel to the reading antenna for reliable performance.

Standard NFC inlay stickers may not work correctly when attached directly to metal surfaces. Use an anti-metal NFC tag or add a suitable insulating ferrite layer for metal installations.

Also, NTAG213 provides 144 bytes of user memory. It is not a direct replacement for NTAG215 or NTAG216 when an application requires their larger memory capacities.
